Visit to Hisani Orphanage Centre Kigamboni 

During the review period, the Gender Desk Coordinator organized a visit for the members of the Gender Desk and the Students' Gender Club to Hisani Orphanage Centre, located at Kibada -Kigamboni. The visit took place on 2nd June 2023, and served as a demonstration of the College's commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility.

During the visit, the Gender Desk, representing the CBE Management, presented foodstuff items to the orphans at Hisani Orphanage Centre. The items donated included corn flour, beans, sugar, soap, rice, and cooking oil, all in substantial amounts. This contribution aimed to provide essential supplies and support to the orphanage and its residents.

The founder of the orphanage, along with other leaders, expressed their gratitude and appreciation to CBE for their initiative and generosity. They acknowledged the significance of such support in improving the well-being of the orphans under their care. The founder and leaders also encouraged other stakeholders to follow CBE's example and extend their assistance to similar institutions.
By organizing this visit and donation, the Gender Desk and the Students' Gender Club demonstrated their understanding of the importance of giving back to the community and supporting vulnerable groups. This initiative not only provided much-needed resources to the orphanage but also fostered a sense of social responsibility among the college members involved.

The visit to Hisani Orphanage Centre showcased the college's commitment to making a positive impact beyond the confines of the academic environment. It served as a reminder of the college's dedication to promoting social justice, equality, and compassion within the broader community.
