Entry Requirements for BIT

Holders of Form Six Qualifications:
Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examinations (i.e form VI) with at least two principal passes in Advanced Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Biology, Economics, Accountancy, Commerce or Agriculture
OR
Foundation Programme of the OUT with A GPA of 3.0 accumulated from six core subjects and at least a C grade from three subjects in Science cluster. PLUS, An Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination with at least 1.5 points from the two combination subjects.

Holders of Ordinary Diploma or Equivalent Qualifications
Ordinary Diploma with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (NTA 6) or an average of B (Diploma in Education) or a Distinction for unclassified Diplomas and certificates or Upper Second Class for classified non-NTA Diplomas from any recognized institution in:

- Computer Science,
- Computing & Information Technology,
- Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering,
- Health Records & Information Technology

OR

Full Technician Certificate (FTC) with an average of “C’’ in:
