WINNER: BEST CONTRIBUTED PAPER PRIZE

The College of Business Education (CBE) extends its warmest congratulations to Mr. Haji Athumani Msangi, an esteemed member of our academic staff, for his remarkable achievement in winning the Best Contributed Paper Prize at the 7th Conference of the African Association of Agricultural Economists (AAAE) in 2023. 

Outperforming 576 submissions from across the globe, Mr. Msangi's paper, titled 'Maximizing Impact: The Power of Combining Land Tenure Formalization with Productive Social Safety Net Programs in Tanzania,' stood out.

The conference took place from September 18th to 21st in Durban, South Africa.

Mr. Msangi currently serves as an Assistant Lecturer in Economics at the Department of Marketing and Business Administration, CBE - Mbeya Campus.
