The African Conference on Operations and Supply Chain Management (ACOSCM) is an academic conference that addresses operational and supply chain practices, trends and emerging issues from the perspective of African continent and is hosted by a different University within Africa each year in a rotating format. ACOSCM aims to become one of the leading academic conferences for logistics, supply chain management, and transportation themes in Africa.
On 5th – 6th September, 2023, Mr Alfred Ain Sallwa of CBE Dsm-Campus, attended the 5th African Conference on Operations and Supply Chain Management (ACOSCM) held in Kampala Uganda at Protea Hotel Skyz on 5th -6th September, hosted by Makerere University Business School. This year’s theme was “Leveraging Supply Chain Management for Inclusive Service Delivery in Developing Economies”. Mr. Alfred Sallwa presented a Paper under a sub-theme (Digitalization in Logistics) titled “The influence of ICT on Supply Chain Integration and Performance”. During the closing ceremony, Mr Alfred Sallwa was named the best paper presenter and his paper was named the best paper of the Conference.
